Zoo Med Spirulina 20 Fish Food Flakes

This was the first kind of food my new Kole tang would accept and it turns out my other less herbivorous fish love it too. It apparently has lots of good stuff in it and spirulina has always been good for keeping fish in the best of color. I also like that they are rather large sized flakes, which gives me the option of keeping the bigger ones for my larger fish or crumbling them a bit for the smaller ones. I've decided to use this as my "staple" food in between feedings of frozen food. Well recommended--buy now! Pet Mountain's operators are standing by...

My angel, butterflies, clowns, gobies, tangs, and various reef fish love this food. They love it so much that they actually gobble up the flakes the second the food hits the water! I have tried several types of flakes and pellets, but my reef fish eat up Zoo Med's Spirulina 20 flakes with enthusiasm like I have not seen before. My fish even prefer Spirulina 20 over frozen PE Mysis! I also like the large flakes that I can crush into smaller bits for the fish in my freshwater community tank. Guppies, platys, tetras, and Siamese algae eaters love this food as well. Feed your fish Spirulina 20 and watch them devour it!

This stuff is great .. I started using it for my Cichlids of all kinds as they have to have it .. Then saw I could give it to my Saltwater Fish and they love it.. So from now on I am getting the 5 LBS maybe even the 20LBS since I am going throgh it so fast .. A+++++ Must have

This food comes in HUGE 1" flakes that I love to float on the top of my tropical and goldfish tanks. It may not be their favorite food (brineshrimp take that place) but it helps their digestion and has made their colors more vibrant than ever. Good food.

Great spirulina flake food for mbuna cichlids, they have fantastic colors, grow fast and thrive with this flake.

These flakes are awesome! Even my Oscars love these flakes. They're huge, most are about 4" in diameter. They don't fall apart in the water though. The ingredients are excellent. I've never had a fish who didn't love em'!

Good follow-up meal when I do my second daily feeding. You may have to crumble it up a bit for smaller fishes. A few flakes would do, so don't overfeed.

Amazing amount for the price. This is the only place I can get this food, and I love that they have so many sizes! Best purchase ever!

I've tried multiple 'algae' wafers and 'veggie' flakes to supplement my otocinclus' diet, and all have stubbornly been ignored. Reading about the benefits of spirulina, I found a website where they have a Guaranteed Analysis of most major fish food products on the market. This Zoo Med Spirulina 20 flake rated waaay higher than the rest. Some 'spirulina' flakes barely contain ANY spirulina (mostly fish meal and wheat--no thx), but this flake is packed with the stuff. Sure enough, an hour after dropping in my first flakes, my species tank of otos are going bananas for them. Happy otos!
