This triple action formula acts fast - clears pond water and breaks down sludge and offers a long-term solution to un-clear pond water. Pond Simply Clear is a fast acting bacteria that feeds on small size organic materials that often cause cloudy water conditions. As the bacteria rapidly grow they shed their outer coating which acts as natural flocculent clumping fine particles.

As the fine particles clump together they either drop to the bottom of the pond or are removed by the pond filter. Once the particles are clumped together the bacteria have a concentrated food source further reducing the causes of cloudy water conditions. The bacteria require phosphates as a necessary food source eliminating it from the water. The fast-acting bacteria are extremely efficient at breaking down dissolved proteins that are associated with poor water clarity. Simply Clear bacteria will quickly clear pond water and digest and eliminate the floating particles.

Dosage:
16 oz: Treats 4,000 Gallons
32 oz: Treats 8,000 Gallons
64 oz: Treats up to 16,000 Gallons
1 Gallon: Treats up to 32,000 Gallons

Dosing Instructions:
Initial dose: Add 2 oz. per 250 U.S. gallons twice a week for two weeks.
Maintenance dose: Add 1 oz. per 250 U.S. gallons or 1/2 cup per 1,000 U.S. gallons every two weeks.
End of season dose: Add 2 oz. per 250 U.S. gallons twice a week for two weeks.

We have clear water!

Our water this past spring was initially clear but as the spring wore on it became increasingly cloudy. Algae fix alone was no longer correcting the issue. Upon introducing the second dose of Simple-Clear we began to see results. After the third dose and since we have had sparkling clear water. Just ordered a 32oz bottle for maintenance doses to last the rest of the pond season.

Good products

I was told about Pond Care salt last year to treat my pond. This year I know a bit more about my pond and needed some treatment products so I came back to Pond Care for a solution. I've used several of their products this year and like the quality and more natural aspects. I want a healthy pond but not at the cost of the environment. This particular product has worked as well as all of the others I have tried.

Other reviewers have said that this product worked quickly. In the case of our pond, it took about 4 weeks, but then magically cleared the water. Initially I was disappointed as I expected somewhat quick results. It did very gradually start to clear the water. At about week four we used an algae product along with the Simply Clear and at that point the water almost miraculously cleared. In the past we could barely see our fish unless they came up to eat. Now we rarely see them because they seem to be keeping themselves hidden under objects in the pond. I think it is too clear for them!
