Aspen Pet Kitty Cave Cat Bed Brown

This is a small bed. My 5 lb yorkie and 10 lb chi mix both cuddle in this in cold weather. Other times just one dog, but it is the bed of choice for both. It's been turned inside out for washing several times, and after using it two years it is a bit floppy. Presently purchasing two more as gifts for new puppy owners.

Our dachshund has a need to burrow and was in the habit of digging and wrapping himself up in a blanket. This is a good solution for allowing him to burrow without all the work, and it looks more attractive than a wadded up blanket on the floor. It serves our purpose and seems to be made well. I haven't had to try and wash it yet, however, so I'm not sure how it will hold up.

This bed/cave is cute and looks just like the online picture. The size, however, ended up being a lot smaller than I thought - based on other reviews. My cat and dog (15lbs), who both like to curl up into things and burrow, have both refused to go in it. They try and then get nervous because of how enclosed and small the space is. My dog just sits on top of the cave. I would recommend this for a pet under 10lbs only.
