This gentle, scientifically formulated shampoo was developed by a veterinarian to give your pet healthy skin and a lustrous hair coat. Sensitive skin needs natural moisturizing ingredients. A special combination of these ingredients rejuvenates and protects normal skin and soothes dry, brittle coats and rough, flaky, oily, sore or irritated skin. This formula also helps relieve itching caused by allergies and other skin problems. Great for pets with dry or sensitive skin-perfect for puppies and kittens. Keeps normal hair coat soft, healthy and shiny.

Will not reduce effectiveness of Advantage.

Directions: Wet coat. Dilute one oz. (six capfuls) of the gentle, low-lather Hypoallergenic Shampoo in one cup of water, then pour mixture evenly over the wet coat. Avoid contact with eyes. Lather and massage coat for five minutes. Rinse well until your pets hair coat is squeaky clean. Repeat if necessary and bathe as often as needed for relief of itching and other skin problems. Then, for best results and a glistening hair coat, use Veterinarians Best Moisture Mist, Hot Spot Spray and Vita-Derm Nutritional Supplement.

Vets Best Shampoo really is the "Best."

I first used Vets Best Hypo-allergenic dog Shampoo on our 3 month old Soft-coated Wheaten Terrier. It's soap-free and won't hurt the eyes. The Shampoo is the mildest ingredient shampoo I have found. Jarmy is allergic to almost everything and will itch or break out in hives. He's allergic to Oatmeal an ingredient found in many other allergy-free mild shampoos. He gets a bath every week and we take his shampoo for the groomer to use at his 6 weeks grooming appointment. We recently changed groomers and got rave reviews from Brandy on how well the shampoo worked and smelled.

This shampoo is the Best!

I also submitted a review for Vet's Best Hot Spot spray; but I praise both these products. Recently, I purchased Natural Care Hypoallergenic Shampoo when I COULD NOT FIND Veterinarian's Best HypoAllergenic Shampoo at a competitor website website. I have totally regretted that purchase, even though one would see the words 'Natural Care' on Vet's Best bottle, they obviously are not the same product. We adopted our little feist a few years ago knowing she had skin issues due to allergies. Veterinarian's Best HypoAllergenic Shampoo and its Hot Spot spray helped to relieve those problems! I can give her a bath with Natural Care's Shampoo, and 2 days later she smells as if she had not been bathed for weeks. And I think it is an allergy odor, not a dirty dog odor. Am so glad that I found our original products online at Pet Mountain when previous online supplier no longer carries them.

This product is GREAT!

The Best

We have 4-adorable Shih-tzu female pets and have been using this shampoo for at least 9-yrs. Recently Pet-Smart discontinued carrying it on their shelves. We were subjected to using some other brands, of which were inferior. We were disappointed so we went on-line. This shampoo is simply the best. With the other shampoos, our dogs didn't look good at all. They didn't last as long as this stuff does. Let's face it, dogs do get dirty. We will order this product on-line now.
