These storage containers are sturdy and well constructed, much better than giant bags of dog and cat food cluttering up the floor. I must add though, as happy as I am with them, I believe they cost more than they should-after all, it is just a plastic box. That said, PetMountain definitely had the best price I could find.

These are made of FDA approved plastics. We use them to store sugar, flour, rice, pastas, etc. We buy them when they are on sale. If you turn the stackables you can store more, but you are not able to stack them, but thats ok. We love our vittle vaults.

The Vittles Vault is terrific. It is durable and keeps the dog food fresh. I have a couple of these for my bird seed and I love them!

This storage system is absolutely the "Cadillac" of dog food storage systems. It's air tight so you won't get water or bugs in the food. The seal is replaceable. It's very rigid and made of high impact, high wear resistant plastic that will last the life of any dog (perhaps several generations). You can't beat this system.

We started having problems with bugs in bird food, so we had to find something truly air tight. After ordering several different brands that claimed they were air tight - this is the only one we found that really was good. Easy to open, and easy to get bird and dog food out of.

My family has grown tremendously in the past few years! We now have five dogs of various sizes and ages, thus requiring a variety of food! Therefore, we own five Vittles Vaults to hold all of that food! We have found that the Vittles Vault are the best containers for keeping the food for our precious companions safe and fresh! This is the best container I have found to keep my pets food fresher longer and safe from the pets when it is not feeding time. I've used it for my dog, horse and cat food and it works great. I really like the stackable kind it helps with space!

I have a ton of these, they are expensive and this keeps a lot of people from ordering them I'm sure. However we have horses,barn cats, chickens,and dogs. And many of these are kept in the barn in hot,cold, etc with bugs,mice (not if the cats are doing their job) raccoons who wander in etc and it keeps everything separated, safe, fresh and waterproof! We keep a small one in the chicken run and they peck it, sit on it, etc and it stands up to everything. The horse feed (3 different kinds) use as a container is fantastic. My husband built a bin that they sit in and spinning off the tops of all three and feeding and then spinning back on takes only seconds. They eliminate the bungee cord nonsense with metal cans to make them coon, mice, rat, cat etc proof. They are worth the money. And as far as inside use, they blend into any decor. I have one large one for the dog food in the kitchen and you don't even notice it (unlike a big nasty trash can to hold the food). It keeps the dog food nice and crunchy and fresh. At 30.00 a bag for good dog food, you cant afford for it to go bad in the humidity by not putting it in something like a Vittle Vault. These are also great for storing rice, flour,sugar etc. We dont have any of those wierd moths that sometimes invade the pantry from flour brought home and left partially open in the pantry. I transfer everything over to these (they come in a ton of sizes)... LOVE THESE VAULTS... NOW JUST LOWER THE PRICE SO I CAN HAVE MORE!
