Zukes Hip Action Dog Treats Roasted Beef Recipe

My German Shepherd was diagnosed with hip dysplasia when he was a year old. He is 9 1/2 years old now and is doing well. He gets one of the same glucosamine tablets I take and 2 Hip Action treats a day. Besides that, he loves the Hip Action and considers them treats.

This is the one product that has really improved the life of our aging border collie mix. She has arthritic back legs and can't easily get up and down stairs. She also cannot chew up glucosomine in hardened pill form anymore because of her teeth. These are soft chews. This flavor of the three is the one she likes best, and she joins the rest of the family, even sometimes jumps up on the furniture as a result of us giving her these treats as recommended every day.

My vet recommended my Chihuahua take glucosamine for her luxating patellas (trick knees). I ordered the six pack since the savings were greatest. The flavor was roast beef. My dogs love these! A medication that my dogs actually want to eat. I also have a Rat terrier. She is overweight and these have really helped her with mobility. She's not so stiff in the morning and has been playing with her sisters a lot more. I will buy these again.

Every morning after breakfast, sitting all in a row, my three rescue pups wait for me to give them each one Zukes Roast Beef Treat. I call it their "vitamin" and they remind me if I've accidentally forgotten to give them their "vitamin" for the day. The Peanut Butter flavor is also a hit with them.

My little Papillon strained her back at an early age and I was concerned we would have ongoing problems with her back, she also has a floating knee cap that has caused her some discomfort. Since using Hip Action she has not had any more problems.

I've always been a fan of Zukes treats for training, particularly the minis. When I wanted to start giving a glucosimine treat I looked at what they has to offer. It was the only treat I found with a significant amount of glucosimine in each treat- enough that a few treats a day could replace the pills I had been giving.

My 14 year old dog responded to this product in a couple days. I will not be without it. He was having trouble going up and down stairs and now he takes them 2 at a time. He bounces around like a puppy. Is again going for long walks, where before he just wanted to lay around all day. Great product!

After being charged $120 by vet for Dasuquin, and finding out dog does not like these and will not eat them unless well disguised, I found these Zuke's products on Pet Mountains' website and decided to give them a try. Doggie LOVES them, which makes giving them to her so much easier! Haven't been giving long enough to decide if they help her with her knee problem, but we're sure having fun in the meantime! If you have an older dog who is up there in age, or even one in mid life, this is a fantastic product. I have had my 14 1/2 year old black lab/Rotty on this product for about 18 months. She has bad hip issues. I had to assist her to stand up often. Using this product, she now is much more active and needs little assistance. I have also used this with foster dogs who are stiff in their joints and they show great improvement.
