Much better upgrade than I thought it would be!

I've been living with home depot reflectors for my cham lighting forever and finally decided to upgrade to a deep dome fixture. Not only is this a big aesthetic upgrade, but it's also a LOT more stable, and the reflectivity is a big plus for the UVB rays. A note though, if you've been using standard reflectors and then switch to the deep dome, you're going to have to lower the wattage of your basking bulb because this fixture directs the heat a LOT more efficiently and the enclosure will be exponentially hotter due to that fact.

Could be better, but price is ok.

Good item but it's not compatible with ZooMed's ceramic heat emmiter. ZooMed need's to make a double dome that is compatible with all types of bulbs. I've bought both this one and the "Mini Double dome" they're both kind of weak and spin when you install bulbs in them. Just beware of these issues.
