I had had good experiences with a smaller size of Reptile Ranch for a young box turtle and was happy to find the larger size once the turtle outgrew his smaller home. These make perfect turtle terrariums and are good for saving space - I currently have three of them stacked up (each housing a juvenile box turtle) under a 20 gallon aquarium stand. My turtles love their Reptile Ranches! [The only negative thing I have to say about them is that the lids are a bit flimsier than I had hoped; they are perfectly adequate for stacking cages, but they bend a bit too much to make opening and closing the view windows very easy, and one of the three lids I have does not fit very tightly on the terrarium base.]
