Tortoise food

Have been using this product as a staple food for a breeding pair of south American red foot tortoises for 8 years. My tortoises love the food and it is the most economical for the price when purchased in the 20 lb bag that I have found balances well when fed with various in season fruits and vegetables.

I tried Pretty Pets Tortoise Food (large size) when it was recommended to me by some members of our local turtle and tortoise society. I must say, our "St. Nick" (an 8-year-old sulcatta tortoise) cleaned his plate--he didn't leave even a morsel behind. I mix it with dried grasses and greens for his daily meal(s.) Definitely a keeper product and I'll be back!

I have tried a variety of tortoise foods for my yellowfoot over the years. She'll nibble at most and be satisfied, but that's about it.After reading the stellar reviews from other tortoise owners, I decided to try this food for mine, and boy oh boy, now she's pigging out!I have never seen my tortoise so excited to eat! It makes me happy too, to see her enjoying her food so much, I'm relieved to finally have found something that she loves!I'll be buying this in bulk for sure, the price is good and it's nice to see such a happy tortoise =) (She's pecking at her glass right now in fact, reminding me that her bowl is empty .... again .... ;-))

"My Tortoise loves it"

I have a large Sulcata Tortiose and he loves this product. I add a little water to soften it and he would come out of his hiding place because he can smell it. I've tried other Tortoise food but this food he would eat till it's gone. Other types, He would eat some and the rest would go to waste.
