Directions: To treat fleas and ticks harboring in residential lawns and backyards, use this concentrate in a hose-end sprayer. Attach to sprayer and spray as recommended. For best results, lawn should be mowed a day or two before spraying. Spray using a slow, even sweeping motion, being sure to cover the entire lawn surface where pets will normally frequent. Spray under ornamentals and trees, but avoid soaking young or flowering plants. Repeat treatments may be necessary. A registered fire ant mound treatment should also be used in conjunction with this product. Keep pets and children out of the treated area until after the spray has dried. Do not spray animals. Dogs, cats, their kennel or bedding areas should also be treated with a registered flea and tick control product in conjunction with this application.

Adams Plus Yard Spray Customer Reviews
My husband went a little crazy and sprayed the entire back yard (which is huge - with many trees and shrubs) using up the entire bottle but we have yet to see any ticks on us, our one year old son or the dog. Just a few weeks ago, ticks were everywhere so it seemed. Even sitting on our patio, I found one on my arm. And the dog... well one evening we pulled no less than 5 ticks off him (and he's just a little guy). Since we sprayed about one week ago, we haven't seen one tick. We've even had a few good rain storms since then. I think it's supposed to be good for 3 to 4 weeks before the next application. We'll see how well it holds up in the weeks to come. (that's why I only gave it four stars - we'll revisit and re-evaluate next month!)
