150w spot bulb came in quick and works great thank you
We have been buying another brand FOR YEARS (10+)... After writing that company that their bulbs were lasting about 2 weeks and EXPLODING (possibly hurting our pets) and receiving NO feedback... I switched to these and am quite pleased with the results! Plus, buying them from PetMountain... I get them delivered! 2 wins! If anyone else is experiencing the same... I urge them to switch!
It's a good light, but was warmer than I expected for a 50W bulb. If you use it, make sure you have a good source of humidity in the tank because this bulb will dry things out. Even my corn snake, which generally doesn't care about humidity, needs a humidifier to offset how dry this bulb makes his tank.
It's a heating bulb, it works. Not much else to say about it.
This bulb does exactly what it is supposed to do and gives our reptile friend what he needs when he can't be outside in the sunshine. This is not a warming bulb, don't confuse the two types of bulbs.
We have a tortoise and this light is exactly what we have been looking for. Great product
I find that these bulbs do not last the hours listed on the package. They tend to burnout within a couple months time.
My turtles love to bask under the warmth provided by these compact yet potent lamps.
