Obviously the bulb does its job and heats the tank. I was expecting a brighter, more out-in-the-desert light to be emitted though. Exo-Terra's sun-glo basking bulb gives off the light brightness I expected to find with these bulbs. Still, heat is heat. I only have the 25W bulb, so maybe a higher wattage would produce a brighter emission.
