Hikari's Bio-Pure freeze-drying process uses pharmaceutical techniques to produce the cleanest food possible, while maintaining a texture and taste that most freeze-dried foods lose. 100% pure and free of parasites and harmful bacteria, you can feel completely confident feeding Tubifex Worms to your aquatic pets.
The product comes as small, convenient cubes of Tubifex Worms. This allows easy monitoring of the amount of food eaten and helps eliminate the chance of over-feeding. It also means less mess and will not cloud the water.
Tubifex Worms are multi-vitamin rich to reduce stress and stress-related diseases. Hikari uses nitrogen charging to reduce oxidation prior to opening, and oxygen absorbers to reduce oxidation once opened for long lasting freshness. Less water in each cube means you get more food, vastly reducing your cost per feeding. No artificial colors or preservatives.
Feeding Suggestions: Feed the amount your pet will completely consume within 3 to 5 minutes up to 3 times daily.

I have never fed a freeze dried product to my fish before. I was amazed at their response to this food. Very shy tropicals came to the surface and ate from my fingers. My large goldfish are crazy for it as well. I like having a product that I can give as a treat that is also good for them. I will definitely order this product again. Thanks Pet Mountain for shipping my order quickly and packaging it so well.
Tubifex worms are tubifex worms...or are they? The fact that Hikari packs these with the little moisture removing package keeps them "fresh" for quite a while. A recommended treat for daily usage...
I have used these in the past and I am happy to have found them at a good price, my fish all love them. I am hoping that the little oto catfish will love them as much as the corys.
I have had a turtle that was shy until I started feeding him these tubifex worms. He now actually begs for treats. It's adorable. You can tell the quality in this product. It is the best tubifex product out there.
I have a large backyard pond which I populated with itty bitty koi. They were very shy, staying to the center of the pond. Feeding was fun but I wanted them to eat out of my hand. Hikari Tubifex Worms were the answer. A few bits thrown out to give them a taste and they were rushing to the side for more. It took calm and patience to get them to eat from my hand, but the key was this product. The great thing is, the little squares don't dissolve immediately in the water, so you can break off a little chunk and hold it quietly at the surface until they have to come up and take it from your hand. I've also used it to hand feed Bikurs and Betas, and the marine tank fish love it, too. Because it's freeze dried and well sealed, you can stock up and it stays fresh. I tend to keep it in the freezer until I open it, but I really don't think that's necessary. I spoil my fish, no question, but the one thing that would make them pack up and swim away from home is no more "gummy" worms. If I could, I'd give it ten stars.
We use Hikari products for all our fish. Our Endlers, Discus, Corys, and young Honduran Red Points love them!
