I ordered this product because my rabbit just loves them. The Pet Mountain price was good, but I never received the product. I blame the post office for this, since they have failed to deliver purchases to me previously. However, Pet Mountain has been so kind in communicating with me about getting a refund that I'm thinking of trying again to order online!
I've been trying to get my three year old Golden Palomino rabbit to eat timothy hay or any other type. No luck. I have a 50lb box of timothy grass hay that is slowly turning brown because my rabbit does not want to even munch on it. So I've been putting it in the litter tray.I bought these cubes thinking maybe if I give him something he can crunch on, he'll think it's a treat of some sort. I've had these cubes for a month now and he barely is on his third one. I bought this with no luck. He prefers his pellets. The cubes I still recommend though be careful since these contain alfalfa. Too much alfalfa for an adult rabbit is bad.
But I'm super glad that I got them. I have a pet rat, Templeton, and rats aren't supposed to have alfalfa since they cannot digest it properly. On a VERY RARE occasion I chop a piece off and let him have it. He loves these cubes. I can't take them away..I was scared to order them online because I ordered them before from a different website and they looked disgusting.... These are perfectly perfect! Smells good, nice and green, and they don't make you want to gag.
What can I say that is not in the title? My bunnies absolutely love these hay cubes. They are great for wearing down their teeth and their need to chew. So glad that you have them at a reasonable price.
My bunnies enjoy nibbling on these hay cubes. Timothy hay is good for them. Gnawing on the cubes help to keep their teeth in good condition too.
These are nutritionally sound and our bunnies love them
