Perfect for keeping my piggles healthy!

The moment I found out that Timothy based food is significantly better for my guinea pigs than alfalfa based food, I switched them to this. It doesn't have any of those fancy (and unhealthy) brightly colored chunks or seeds in it like Fiesta! does - just plain and simple, good-for-them guinea pig food. Plus, PetMountain is the cheapest place to get it, and I can order it in bulk!

good for my guinea pig

We have one guinea pig who had a few episodes of blood in her urine. Then we switched her food to this kind....with the timothy hay instead of alfalfa. Supposedly, it is better for those with urinary tract problems, and we have DEFINITELY found this to be true. She has had no episodes of blood in her urine since we switched to this type of food.
