just a pump part. but just what i needed delivered promptly at the lowest price i could find.
Perfect replacement for the model 12 at a great price. It took a little time to get it from the west coast with standard shipping but I'm back up and running thanks to Pet Mountain
I bought this cover for my PM 1800 gph pump to have if/when it needed to be replaced. I could not find one for my 950 gph PM pump. Well the 950 needed to have the cover replaced and in looking at the cover for the 1800 they appeared to be the same size so my husband put it on the 950 pump and we were back in business again. So just to let everyone know this cover for the PM 12/18 WILL WORK on the smaller size PM 950 gph pump.
Along with a new impeller, this part enabled us to resurrect a $175 pump for jut a sone (and a few dollars). Pump operating once again flawlessly with full force and power.

Very easy to replace. The plastic case is flimsy. It wears out fast if the pump sucks in dirty stuff from water like string algaes, small debris. Price comes down quite a bit comparing few years ago and makes it more reasonable . Prepare to stock a few of them as I went through them in few months. If you keep your intake water clean then it might last for a year.
