I've used this for my older kitty, Mandi, who was dignosed with oral cancer in October of 2013 when she was 15 years old. At times, the cancer in her mouth has made it difficult for her to eat solid food and KMR has served as a great nutritional supplement to help keep her maintained. I mix the powder up with water and sometimes I add in just a splash of lactose free whole milk and she laps it up. Easy for me and for her! It's now been one year and eight months since we started this journey called cancer and against all odds, I still have my Mandi. She is now 17 years old.
I foster kittens for a local animal shelter and this KMR is essential for the kittens that come in with no mom cat. The kittens take to it right away. I've used other brands, but PetAg seems to work the best. I've had the healthiest kittens this year since I've only used this brand. It may be more expensive than other brands, but it's well worth it for the health of the kittens.
I have a newborn kitten rescue and have tried all brands of formula for kittens. While some can be too rich and cause tummy upset, if you are consistent with directions and feed every two hours, your kittens will thrive with KMR Milk Replacer for Kittens. Kittens prefer it heated, which makes it mix with water better as well. A wonderful alternative when there is not a mother cat.
