Purchased this to use in my sugar glider's BML staple diet. Awesome.
Awesome product! My vet highly recommends this product.
Great product but I placed my order on a Sunday, they dragged their feet and didn't send out the item until the following Wednesday and it took till the next Friday (nearly 14 days) to arrive from the time I placed the order. Very disappointing.
Good throughout the baby and adolescent stage, but don't use at all afterward cause it can cause edema. Excessive amounts of d3 that is, because a chameleon once it gets to the late adolescent stage, it should already be able to convert beta carotene to d3 on its own by use of good ole sunlight or a lamp called power sun that emits a lot of UVA and UVB rays. You might wanna include the super high watt compact fluorescents also, but the light from them alone does not penetrate down through the cage far enough to do the chameleon any good. Try and get your lizard out in the sun as much as possible but keep an eye on it because they sure like to explore at times.
I've used this product faithfully for hatchlings under normal UVB lighting with wonderful results.
We have been using this product for years for our Sugar Gliders. Calcium without Phosporus is hard to find and this works great.
