My cats do not like stepping on mats (I did not know this before buying this litter mat) so unfortunately, they just jump over it. When they do step on it, it seems to work pretty well. It would have been nice if it was bigger, I even turned the litter box opening towards the wall to try to force them to step on it, but they can still jump around it. I will still give this 4 stars, because it works when used properly.
Since we cant choose a color, I guess I assumed I would get what I saw. I ended up with a light beige/pearlized bronze mat which is the color I prefer! Im so glad I got it. It is nicer than thought - sturdy thickness, seems durable and easy to clean.
It works good but my cat tries to jump over it cause he doesn't like the ways it feels "soft paws"
