Wow !! My little lavender Lions head, loves this product ! She doesn't like product with a bunch of stiff pieces and straw mixed into her hay, but this Vitakraft hay she gobbles down like a little pig rather than a little rabbit, thanks
This is my bunny's favorite hay. I was buying directly from Amazon at anywhere between $12 - $14 a bag. Quite expensive. I tried other hays, but she wasn't very happy with the quality, very hard and stiff hay. When I found that her favorite hay could be bought in bulk and with a huge savings, I hopped on the deal. Thanks from me and mostly thanks from my bunny!!!!
I use Timothy for my birds, for bedding in my big flights and (for the doves) for nesting material. Vitakraft's Timothy is by far the best I've found. It has the smallest proportion of stalks, and the leaves are softer and moister than other brands. My birds notice it, too. When I put it in with my bobwhite quail, they all run over to me and lie down in the hay as soon as I put some down. It's a little more expensive than some other hays, but it's much, much better.
