Zoo Med ReptiSun 10.0 UVB Mini Compact Fluorescent Bulb Customer Reviews
I got two, one for each habitat. In both cases, their energy increased dramatically.
Ordered the uva/uvb bulb along with other bulbs and lizard supplies, all just as good as at the pet store but a much bettter price and delivered right to my front door. Love Pet Mountain and will always choose them in the future for all my needs.
I've had this light with the deep dome for a couple weeks now. I did not want to invest in the long tube due to limited space on the screen lid to my bearded dragon tank. It seems to be working well- the Beardie does seem to be more active and does sit under the UVB light instead of the heat lamp from time to time. I think this was a good option.
There is much talk about these compacts being harmful to reptiles. The new 2009 bulbs appear to have these problems fixed and are unlikely to cause eye problems or other adverse effects if used a sensible distance (~30cm). I just put one in for the tortoise and she loves it.
Finding good quality light bulbs(Reptisun) for my bearded dragons online is hard, but Petmountain made easy and affordable.
This product is affordable and very helpful for my water turtle's bone and shell development.
This is a great bulb if you have beardies.. even for any other lizard or tortoise with UVB needs... only have to replace once a year!
