Box turtles love this. Mix chunks of it with cooked carrots, kale, cooked squash and they eat it all.
My turtle has ate this consistently since I got him 5 years ago. And since the pet store can't keep this product on the shelf, and it is much cheaper here, I stock up on it every time I order. :)
I have used this food for years. I have a 25+year old box turtle. I was paying almost 50% more at the local pet store for the exact same product. This is easier and cheaper. This turtle looks like it is headed towards 50!
This is the only food our turtles will eat! The pet store called them "picky" but we call them "discriminating." They love this stuff.
Easy to keep and my turtle "Myrtle" loves this food and cant find it in any petstore. Thanks!
My brother is a veteran and feeds his two box turtles this product along with fresh strawberries daily. His two turtles are his buddies and he is so careful to tend to their needs. He praises how they "chomp" down on their food.
When I first got my box she was a very picky eater to say the least. She would not eat any veggies and lived on crickets, worms and apple slices. I purchased this product and mixed it with shaved carrots and different types of greens like broccoli or collard greens and she eats every last bite. Now when it's feeding time she comes running.
I've had my ornate box turtle since I was a teenager (a.k.a., over 15 years), and this is the one food she'll consistently eat. Other than fresh strawberries.
