AquaClear Filter Insert Ammonia Remover

My tank was starting to become known as the tank of death. I could never get the filtration right and ammonia levels were always out of control. I limited the amount of light, food, etc. I was doing everything right but still could not create the water conditions necessary to have healthy, happy fish. Then I switched filters and went with AquaClear. My tank has had crystal clear, safe water for 8 months and I could not be more satisfied.

Cost was reasonable and the ease of use makes this a practical purchase.

Great products. Works well because, one, I don't have water softener and two, water is harder/more harsh compare to the nearby cities. I have been using this product for years!

I was having a problem with an Ammonia spike in my Tank, and I couldn't do enough water changes fast enough to fix the problem. I added this to the Filter and in 24 hours my Ammonia went from 5ppm to 1ppm. then I cleaned the tank, did a water change, and added Beneficial Bacteria. Once the levels were back to normal I took this out and threw it away. it's a life saver.
