Crystal Clear Water in less than a week

All of a sudden I had a problem with green cloudy water. Testing for ammonia, nitrites, nitrates, PH, etc. were all spot on. Fish appeared to be all healthy. But the tank wasn't attractive. Research showed a UV light system may help, so I bought the Aquatop 10W product two weeks ago. Installed it easily in return tubing from my canister filter. In less than a week the water was clearer than it has ever been. Poor fish have been swimming around visually impaired for years cause I didn't know how clear the water could be... This was the least expensive version of UV light system that I could find. Not sure what the expensive ones are like, but this is just a plastic tube with a iight bulb inside. I don't think there is much chance of the plastic tube failing. I wonder if the light bulb will last? The product instructions say they recommend replacing bulb every 9 months. I don't see this brand of bulb sold on Petmountain, and most of the bulbs they do sell cost as much if not more than this complete product. Maybe the bulb has some part number on it that I can use to find the replacement, but while it is working I'm not going to look. At this time I highly recommend this product for how it works. It also seems to be a good value. If it turns out that I got a product that doesn't last and turns out that it is cheap as well as inexpensive i will update this review..

Excellent addition

I've used AquaTop in tank UV products for several years in my aquatic turtle tank and my fish tank. My water stays crystal clear and I rarely have to clean the tanks.

WOW! Simple installation, took but two days to do its job. Algae disappeared, my 55 gallon aquarium cleared up completely. Super product!
