The Aquatop Submersible UV Sterilizing Pump is a new and innovative method for eradicating and controlling free-floating micro-organisms as well as disease-causing pathogens.

No plumbing required - UV sterilizer and pump included

Can be placed anywhere in an aquarium, sump tank, or water garden. The design allows for easy installation and maintenance. Unlike typical UV sterilizing systems, the submersible UV sterilizer requires no special plumbing and is easy to use and maintain. Simply place the UV sterilizer directly into your tank or sump system up to the waterline. The built-in pump will draw water in, running it past the UV bulb.

The SPUV filter uses a submersible top-mounted pump to draw water past its high output and compact UV Bulb. The UV Bulb is encapsulated in a unique quartz sleeve and each model of SPUV includes a pre-filter to mechanically filter organic waste before water passes over the UV bulb.

dirty turtle

I have a turtle who we have in a 75 gallon tank for the winter summer he is in a pond in our yard but now that he is inside for the winter the tank just wont clear up,, I have 3 in water filters with the light going and it is still looking bad ..I hate to partly empty it and refill but nothing I have done is clearing it up and Ive had this turtle for over 30 years and this is the first time the tank just wont clear up... any suggestions would help and be appreciated!

Very nice piece of equipment

The submersible UV sterilizer is a very nice addition to any Med to Large aquarium. It is well made, dependable and very easy to use. Clears up the water quickly and helps prevent waterborne parasites. Especially ich. It's a long way from the old cumbersome and unreliable expensive units that were previously available. Well worth the investment if you like your fish and a crystal clear tank.

AMAZING!

I have had this 75 gallon cichlid aquarium for over 10 years and never had a problem with it until recently. The water lost its clarity and no matter what I did it was continually cloudy and I hadn't changed anything I had done with it. I bought this UV sterilizer and the tank completely cleared up within 2 days! Don't forget to turn on the additional switch to the bulb (didn't do this for a week and wondered why it wasn't working!). I highly recommend this product. It is also very easy to maintain and clean.

Algae killer

Ever since I added this to my tank, all algae growth on the glass and the decorations has stopped and what little was left is slowly going away.

Beyond excellent

I was scrubbing my tank almost daily, green was overtaking it no matter what I did (temp, light, etc.) I bought the UV and I'd say within a week, there was/is a world of difference. I learned it's better to run the pump/flow slower rather than faster because the UV light has more time to kill the bacteria before it enters back into the water supply. I have many corals and a few fish in my 56 column tank. This is a must buy to stop algae growth.

This piece of equipment looks good, haven't hooked up as of yet as I am still in the build process but needed it for fitment purposes. Looks solid, and was exactly as described. Pet Mountain shipped quickly, actually more quickly than I anticipated. Would buy from Pet Mountain in the future.

Works Great!

I have an outside aquarium in Florida and started to get some green algae. This product clear the green in less than a week. It was very easy to install---basically place in tank an plug in.

Awesome product!

My fish tank was cloudy. I could not get it clear until I ordered this UV Stabilizer. This thing works 100%. It took a week for it to clear all the way and is still clear after weeks. I am so glad I fould this product!
