I have a Penn Plax Cascase 1000 Canister filter system for my turtle's aquarium. It has lasted about 5 years or more. The motor finally gave out and I didn't want to have to purchase a whole system when I only needed a new motor which is also the entire top portion of the canister unit. Pet Mountain had the motor portion for sale when no one else did - including the OEM. The price was 1/3 that to buy the whole entire filter canister system again. All I had to do was pull the propeller system, shaft and plug mount (very easy using the little propeller axle itself to do so). I also needed to reuse the cap that holds the propeller in place and now my turtle's tank is clean and healthy again. Hope this goes for another 5 years or so. Thanks for being there Pet Mountain, with your super fast shipping, I had it at my house in 2 days as well. My little aquatic turtle Qui thanks you and so does my wallet!
