Fluval Vuetech E Series Heater

This is a great heater that shows you digitally where your temp is and should be. The switch is perfect for raising or lowering the temp. It is fully incased and your tank inhabitants cannot come in contact with the heater itself. It also has a flash/color alarm that lets you know if you water temp is changing dramatically.

Peace of mind on what the tank temp is and will stay at. Is already set at 77 from factory has one switch bump it one way for temp change at .5 up or down it has three color background lights; green is what it will stay at and keep that temp, red is too high temp in tank - have not seen that - and blue is colder than tank set up temp. Junked my old Pet Smart heater, dropped the temp to 76 and it took 3 hrs to get my 65 gallon tank from 70. Blue light start off to my set 76 hasn't budged from that temp yet still green and going. Love it will only buy this product again...

Had two different heaters in my 180 gallon saltwater tank, however they never seemed to turn off and the water would get too hot. I love these heaters, they have a digital readout so I always know the temp in the tank and if water temp is off digital display goes from green to blue or red. Love them.

I live in the Pac NWest, temps vary outside, and I love to leave doors open as often as possible. Even in these conditions the Fluval e series maintains the temperature perfectly. Always a concern that a heater can explode during a water change if one is careless...I researched and found this model to have an auto shutoff at 200*. So, should your heater come loose or is mounted too high in the tank during a water change, it will not break. It will shut off to protect itself. Thank you Fluval for an intelligent design and high quality product.

These heaters work really well. They look great in the tank because they blend in better than the typical metal heaters that you see anywhere else. Setting the temperatures is also very easy. I like that the fish can't touch the heater so there isn't an issue with them getting injured from it. The price was also really good. You won't regret buying these.

Outstanding Heater to replace the bad Rena Smart Heater.

Up to this point, I had no idea that regular heaters just turn on and off and do not actually TEST the water before....... turning on or off! I bought this Fluval heater, and my tank is at a constant temperature! Even when my downstairs was 65 F, the tank was still at 80! Heater will not turn on when not needed and will turn on when needed! Honestly, spend the money!

This in addition to the original review I submitted on the Fluval E Series Heater that I rated when I only had the heater for 2 days. It is now over a year and this heater is still working flawlessly. I do check often with an instant read thermometer when I change water and this heater is always spot on. They are well worth the money from the experience I have had. It is in a 20 gallon tank. I do unplug it for at least 20 min. before cleaning the tank and leave it off for about 20 min. when the cleaning is complete. I did have to move it a few times in order to get the LF indicator to turn off. I also clean it every time I clean the tank to keep it algae free.

Got one of these for my 20L tank and couldn't be happier. The temp is very accurate, the adjustments are easy to make, and the design is fancy. Even though it is more on the expensive side, it is well worth the money.
