Hikari Micro Pellets feature a blend of specially selected proteins, beneficial algaes and attractive colors that creates an ideal food for most tropical fish. Each semi-floating granule has a micro coating to lock in nutrition and eliminate water clouding.

The premium-select marine and vegetable protein mix is ideal for small tropical fish who require larger energy reserves. A balance of krill and spirulina offers vivid coloration. These precisely colored granules imporve underwater visibility, resulting in more rapid acceptance with less uneaten food. The softer texture is ideally suited for most smaller community tank fishes. Feeding Directions: Feed 2 to 3 times daily the amount your fish will completely consume in a few minutes. Care should be taken to avoid overfeeding as water quality issues can result.

Clean water

Huge improvement compared to flakes that I used before. Pellets are the way to go when you want to keep the aquarium clean. My fish like that type of food and there is no food dust that floats in the water.

I was recommended this product when my son bought his first fish. The price was a little high, but I thought we'd try it anyway. It is wonderful! The pellets float longer than flake food, decreasing the mess on the tank bottom. Our fish love the food. It is great!

Hikari Tropical Micro Pellets.

The picture on the package from your product listing is the same product I have been using in the past. But, when I received the pellets, it is for most tropical fish The pellets are all one color, as is the difference between the two types Hikari makes. Or do they only make one kind now??? I wanted the multi colored brand that is for Tropical fish, but as I said, The product label I received says it's for Most Tropical Fish. Look at your catalog picture and then compare it with what you are sending out. Wish I could have had the multi colored pellets.
