This is a good carrier. I use it for my parakeet's vet trips and it works great and it lets him see out too.

This cage is great for short trips and holding my rats while I change their large cage!

this travel cage was for the transport of 2 baby rats from a rescue in south dakota. it was perfect for the job. the only thing I'm not so fond of is the way it opens only from the top.

It will do

This would work great for a small rodent. Do not buy this for a guinea pig, lol they are too big for this cage. I read the dimensions and decided to get the medium cage and some how accidentally ordered the small. It has good construction and will last through kids packing it around with a rat or other small rodent.

Functional, could be a little sturdier

I bought the Take Me Home Carrier to fit inside the Come Along Carrier for transporting my pionus parrot. The combination works extremely well and it fits perfectly in the other carrier. The large is a great size for a sml/med parrot with appropriate bar spacing. There are only two things I would change. From the perspective of a bird owner it would be nice if it opened on the side instead of on top, but I understand that it is made more for small mammals. I wish it was a little sturdier. The door has some issues opening and closing. It sticks and has to be wiggled a little. This will cause the coating to wear. I have also had the handle comes out on one side and had to be rebend it and put back on. I only use the two carriers together, so I do not have much use for the handle and am not concerned. It is a good price and I will purchase one again if I need it.
