Very nice

At first, I thought the thermometer came with a suction cup. Although when it finally came in the mail, I realized it was one that was weighted at the bottom so it can stand up. It works very well. I got it for my 5g, but I'm waiting for that to come in as well. Until then, I've been testing it out in sink with my other thermometer to make sure they were both working, and they're both off by 1 degree (which is very common with most thermometers, so it's not a big deal). The good thing about it, working aside, is that you don't have to worry about it not being able to stick to the aquarium and it's easy to transport (I've had another thermometer a while back that stuck the first few times, but as time went on, it eventually lost its sticking ability).

handy and accurate

This thermometer has been accurate so far, it and the one sticking to the outside of the tank have been consistently reading the same each time I check. I have the standing thermometer in a 10 gallon, so it has been handy to grab out of the tank when I do water changes, then I can measure the temperature of the new water in the bucket to make sure it is not too hot or too cold before I pour it in the tank.

Doesnt come with a suction cup to stick to the tank

I didn't even realize it until after I bought it but it doesn't come with a suction cup...no biggy but it just looks weird chilling at the bottom of the tank in the gravel.
