My hamsters adore this food, and I love that it is nutritious! I have to say my favorite aspect of it, is that it has peanuts in the shell. They love to crack the shell open and eat the delicious peanuts. They also, surprisingly, eat the pellets, which I'm very pleased with! I would recommend this food 100%

Hazel Hamster, by Supreme, is probably the most highly recommended hamster diet available in the United States. The Hamster Council in the UK recommends this company's comparable product, Harry Hamster, in that country and Hazel Hamster elsewhere. I ordered it for my Syrian just to see what all the buzz was about. I must say, I'm quite impressed. Hazel comes closest of any food available to the recommended protein/fat ratio for hamsters, and is full of good things like soy flakes and whole peanuts (in the shell, even) for protein. It has larger chunks, bits, flakes and biscuit than many other foods I've seen, which is more suitable not only to the size of a hamster, but to helping to keep their teeth in good condition. My hamster has always been a bit selective, but I find that he eats more of the Hazel's variety. In other brands he's chosen seeds first, and usually left the biscuit and pellet portion for last, but with the Hazel, I find that he's eating much more of the variety in the dish. He thinks the whole in-shell peanuts serve as toys as well as food; they seem to be his favorite and he'll go right for them when he gets one. I think we're going to stick with Hazel Hamster from now on. I honestly don't think you can go wrong with it.

My hamsters are very picky. And to break that habit I'll wait until they eat the foods they don't like. However with this mix i have one hamster that loves it! And another that picks at it. A plus is it's high in protein and low in fats. Which makes for a healthy diet.

My hamster loves this food! He had never had a peanut before, so I had to open one of them to show him there was a treat inside, and he absolutely loves them! There are a few items he won't eat in the mix, but overall I would say he enjoys it! :)

This is the best food for hamsters and my guys love it.The only problem is that it's hard to find! There are no local stores here that sell it and only 2 or 3 places I've found online to order it, two of those are usually out of stock.

Best hamster food out there. Majority of the food are big pieces and even the seeds are big compared to other brands of foods. Now I'll have less wasted food.

Best out there for diabetic-prone dwarf hamsters, even better at half off pricing. Bags are fresh, were packaged well. No problems, your typical Hazel Hamster. Remember to pick out the corn kernels, corn flakes, and pea flakes!

I initially started buying this for my daughters Russian dwarf hamster , who was diabetic. I chose this since it has the least amount of added sugars compared to other available foods. I now also feed this to our Syrian hamster. He really seems to like it. I do give meal worms and/or lab blocks to bump up the protein.
