The high sides work very well. The Large is really big; Im glad I measured before I bought the Jumbo.

These cat pans are really some of the best out there. The pricing offered makes it feasible to keep several extra on hand.

This litter box is very large with high sides. My cat used it immediately. There have been no accidents or leakage over the sides. This is the ONLY litter box we have found that seems to have eliminated the problem.

Our younger cat has never learned to squat when going #1, preferring to stand and "spray." We needed a cat box that was tall enough to "catch" the problem, and this one did the trick. In two weeks, we've not had a single incident of cleaning urine outside the box. Highly recommended.

High Sided Cat Pan. I have a large cat and this works extremely well. No peeing over the sides, easy to clean.

I purchase these for our local humane society. We have large wooden boxes which hold two of these giant, high sided litter pans. They hold up well, and keep the wooden box and surrounding area litter free.

This is the second order of these litter boxes. This to take with us on Thanksgiving trip. They performed superbly again, even with two very crafty Bengals. I have tried a variety of other boxes, and they all seemed to not control some issues that I was seeing. These were great. Simple yet efficient. They also are easy to clean.....They get my vote! We received a Van Ness "Giant" High Side Litter Pan on loan from a friend when a sweet kitty unexpectedly adopted us. Its a good size, and seemed of high quality, so I purchased 3 more (one to give a new one back to our friend) for our house, with the expectation we will soon adopt another cat. It is not Gigantic or gargantuan, despite the size description (read the dimensions) but it is a very good size, and the high sides keep the litter in well. There is more than enough room for our average sized cat to turn around, and comfortably re-position to cover her business. It cleans up well, too. A big plus (in our opinion) is that it is made in the USA. When we opened it, there was barely any plastic smell (which is expected with freshly-molded plastics), unlike some other plastic products we've had, which off-gas the plastic by products for a horribly long time. The sides are strong enough for our kitty to half-stand on the edges as she does her covering up. If we needed another litter pan, I'd buy this same product again.

I have 8 adult cats so it's important that they have plenty of boxes to use. I keep them clean and they like to keep them full. I have such a hard time finding this size box locally so I was so happy to find a place on line where I could order them. They are great for the older ones that don't get low in the normal height boxes.
