Zoo Med Reptile Lamp Stand

I bought this stand for my heat lamp for my tortoise and this is great. No more worries with the lamp getting too hot on the grate or on the wood or plastic. You can adjust the lamp for closer to the top or farther away. Very secure and well worth the money.

Exactly what we needed for our new tortoise house!

Previously I had my lamps resting directly on the screen top of my vivarium, but using this is much better. It allows easy access to slide the screen top on and off without disturbing the lamps. It is so much easier to open the cage now for cleaning / feeding or to pick up my pet.

This is a great stand, now I don't have to worry about the lamp coming uncliped and falling into the tortoises habitat and starting a fire, or burning the tortoises.

My baby beardie finds the highest spot to bask on which is pretty high up and close to the top. This stand allows me to raise the heat lamp thus lowering the temperature if it gets too hot for him. Its very easy to adjust too. Its also nice not having the lamp directly on top of the screen, putting less wear on the cage.

I love this stand for many reasons... 1st) It makes me feel so much safer knowing that my light is secure and will not fall into the water. Otherwise I have to have the lights sitting on top of the black screen. During feeding or cleaning time these could easily fall into the water and that would be a disaster! 2nd) This light stand is so easy to adjust - up or down, in or out. 3rd) It only takes about a minute to put it together when you take it out of the box.

I hadn't seen this product until I was shopping for basking lights. I have a 55 gallon aquarium with two lights so I purchased a lamp stand for each. It takes a little patience to get the lamp stands adjusted to your set up but once they are set, you tighten up the screws and they are good to go. I have the clamp lights and was able to make them work with these stands.

this stand combined with Powersun UV light made our turtle tank look cleaner. we were using two lights clamped on the tank.

Use it to hold Flukers 150 watt lamp above ball python's enclosure. NO more taking lamp and placing it in another spot to open cage.

I use this with the Mini Combo Deep Dome, it holds it up well, the only issue I really have with it is how it relies on the weight of the tank to hold it up and in place once you have a lamp fixture on it. When I first got it the pant coating on it made it impossible to **** in one of the bolts, but once I cleaned it up a bit and found a wrench it was good to go with no more problems.
